Terms of Use
InkMirror · End User License Agreement (EULA) · Last updated: July 5, 2026
Mirror your Mac or Windows desktop to your tablet and draw on it with a stylus. These terms are a license agreement for InkMirror between you and Hoàng Duy Khánh.
Summary
InkMirror is licensed to you, not sold. It mirrors your own Windows or macOS computer to your tablet over your local network for Apple Pencil / S Pen annotation, with recording and live streaming performed on the desktop. The free tier is ad-supported and limited; premium is available as an auto-renewable weekly, monthly, or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock, purchased through and billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed in your store account settings. Only mirror computers you own or are authorized to control, and follow the law when you record or stream.
Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, installing, or using InkMirror — including its macOS and Windows companion apps — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, an end user license agreement between you and Hoàng Duy Khánh (“we”, “the licensor”). If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.
If you obtained InkMirror from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies where applicable, and billing for App Store purchases is handled entirely by Apple.
License grant
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to install and use InkMirror on devices you own or control, for your own use, subject to these terms and the usage rules of the store you obtained it from. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, or reverse-engineer the app or any part of it, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits. InkMirror is licensed to you, not sold.
Subscriptions & billing
InkMirror offers the following optional premium plans, purchased as in-app purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play:
- Weekly — US$4.90 per week (auto-renewable subscription)
- Monthly — US$19.00 per month (auto-renewable subscription)
- Yearly — US$199.00 per year (auto-renewable subscription)
- Lifetime — US$799.99 (one-time purchase; not a subscription, never renews)
- Billing — payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. Purchases are processed entirely by the store; we never receive or store your payment details.
- Auto-renewal — subscriptions renew automatically, and your store account is charged for the next period at the plan's then-current price within 24 hours before the current period ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Managing & cancelling — manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your store account settings (App Store: Settings → your name → Subscriptions; Google Play: Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Price changes — if a price changes, you will be notified in advance in accordance with the store's rules; if you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
- Prices — shown above in U.S. dollars; the store displays the exact price in your local currency before you buy, and prices may vary by region and by store.
Free tier limitations
Without an active subscription or lifetime unlock, InkMirror can be used with the following limitations:
- Export resolution — recordings and exports are capped at 720p.
- Tools — only a limited set of annotation tools is available.
- Ads — the free tier is supported by advertising (Google AdMob).
We may adjust which features are included in the free tier over time; features you have already paid for are not affected while your entitlement is active.
Refunds
Purchases are handled by the store you bought from, and refunds are governed by that store's policies — we cannot process refunds for store purchases directly. To request one, use Apple’s Report a Problem for App Store purchases or the Google Play refund process for Play purchases. Nothing in these terms limits any statutory refund rights you may have.
Acceptable use
You agree to use InkMirror lawfully and responsibly. In particular:
- Mirror only your own computers. Connect InkMirror only to computers you own or are expressly authorized to access and control. Never use it to view, capture, or control someone else's screen without their permission.
- Record and stream lawfully. When you record or live-stream your screen you are responsible for complying with applicable laws and third-party rights — including copyright and licensing terms for third-party content visible or audible on your screen, and any consent or notification requirements where other people appear or are heard.
- Follow platform rules. When streaming to a third-party platform (for example Facebook Live or another RTMP service), you must also comply with that platform's terms of service and community standards.
- No circumvention. Do not bypass or attempt to bypass the app's licensing, subscription entitlements, or technical limitations (such as the free-tier export cap).
- No misuse. Do not use the app for any unlawful, harmful, or infringing purpose, or in a way that could damage or overburden the services the app relies on.
Intellectual property
InkMirror — its software, design, and branding — is owned by Hoàng Duy Khánh and protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. These terms grant you no rights other than the license above. Your own content — the screens you mirror, your annotations, and your recordings and streams — remains yours; we claim no rights to it.
Disclaimer of warranties
InkMirror is provided “as is” and “as available”, to the maximum extent permitted by law, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free: mirroring quality and latency depend on your devices and local network, and third-party streaming platforms may change or withdraw their services outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hoàng Duy Khánh is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Our total liability for all claims relating to InkMirror is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law or limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
Termination
These terms are effective until terminated. Your license ends automatically, without notice, if you breach them; on termination you must stop using the app and delete all copies. You may end these terms at any time by deleting the app and cancelling any active subscription in your store account. Sections that by their nature should survive — intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — survive termination.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence grants you additional rights, those rights are unaffected.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time — for example, when features or plans change. Material changes are reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where required, notified in the app or through the store. Continued use of InkMirror after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Privacy
How InkMirror handles your data is described in the InkMirror Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
